Ashton Winger earns runner-up World of Outlaws finish at Senoia Raceway

With the national tour coming to town, Ashton Winger welcomed the World of Outlaws Late Model Series to East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Ala.) and Senoia (Ga.) Raceway for a doubleheader weekend through the South.

Ashton started sixth in the $12,000-to-win Chattahoochee Clash and recorded a solid Top-10 finish in seventh. At his home track the following night, Winger picked up a heat race win and redrew the pole position for the Billy Clanton Classic. Ashton led the opening 21 circuits before giving up the lead to Nick Hoffman and settling for a runner-up finish behind Bobby Pierce.
