Tough luck strikes at Senoia Raceway with Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series
Ashton Winger returned to his home track of Senoia (Ga.) Raceway on Saturday afternoon as the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series rolled into town for the Head Family Memorial.
Following the second-fastest lap out of 24 Late Models, Ashton was victorious in his heat race and pulled the No. 2 position in the redraw. Leading the first 26 laps of the $5,400-to-win feature, Winger made contact with Michael Page battling for the lead. With suspension damage after the contact, Winger pulled off early and was scored 18th.
