Ashton Winger seals third Fall Classic triumph at Whynot Motorsports Park
Ashton Winger made the haul to Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Miss.) and was one of 48 Super Late Models checked in for the 31st-annual Coors Light Fall Classic at the world-famous House of Hook.
Winger started 13th in his preliminary feature on Friday night and charged to a Top-5 finish to kick off the weekend. With a complete show set for the finale on Saturday, Ashton ran runner-up in his heat race and started sixth in the 60-lap feature event. Making his pass for the lead just past halfway, Winger led the final 25 circuits and held off a hard-charging Ethan Dotson in the final few laps to secure the $20,000 prize. Winger becomes the first three-time winner of the Coors Light Fall Classic with the victory.
