Ashton Winger returns home for Independence Shootout at Senoia Raceway

Over Fourth of July weekend, Ashton Winger followed the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series to Senoia (Ga.) Raceway on Saturday evening for the one-day, $15,000-to-win Independence Shootout.

Finishing third in a heat race, Winger started 12th in the 50-lap main event and made up his way into the Top-5 before spinning down the frontstretch which put him out of contention.
