Ashton Wingers follows World of Outlaws to Smoky Mountain SPeedway

Back to points racing over the weekend, Ashton Winger followed the World of Outlaws Late Model Series to Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.) for the Tennessee Tipoff doubleheader.

With 45 Late Models signed in on Friday, Winger snuck into the $12,000-to-win feature through a last chance showdown and recorded a 22nd-place finish in the 35-lapper.

Saturday's $15,000-to-win finale was called off due to potential severe weather.
