Sixth-place finish in Lucas Oil visit at Port Royal

After Mother Nature axed Friday’s Hillbilly 100 at Tyler County Speedway (Middlebourne, W.V.), Ashton Winger followed the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) to Hagerstown Speedway (Hagerstown, Md.) on Saturday afternoon for the Conococheague 50. On Sunday at Port Royal Speedway (Port Royal, Pa.) for the River Valley 40, Winger followed up the eighth-fastest time in his group with a second-place finish in his heat race. Starting the $10,000-to-win in seventh, Ashton clawed forward one spot in the 40-lapper to register a sixth-place finish.
