Top-10 finish in Shamrock at Boyd's Speedway

After Mother Nature moved Friday’s event to Sunday and axed Saturday night’s program, Ashton Winger made a last-minute decision to attend the Shamrock at Boyd’s Speedway (Ringgold, Ga.). Rejoining the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) on Sunday at Atomic Speedway (Chillicothe, Ohio) for the Buckeye Spring 50, Ashton followed up a fifth-place finish in his heat with a consolation victory. With $12,000 on the line in the feature, Winger gained five spots in the 40-lapper to place 12th.
