Sixth-place finish in LOLMDS stop at Bubba Raceway Park

Ashton Winger followed the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) to Bubba Raceway Park (Ocala, Fla.) on Monday afternoon for the two-day K&N Filters Winternationals. With a second-place finish in his heat race lining him up ninth on the starting grid for the feature, Ashton improved two spots in the 40-lapper to register a seventh-place finish. On Tuesday, Winger laid down the second-fastest time in his qualifying group before placing second in his heat race. With $10,000 on the line in the feature, Ashton was an early retiree from the race after drawing the first caution on the sixth circuit.
