Winger tops SAS Clanton Classic field at Senoia

Taking advantage of a late-race restart, third-starting Ashton Winger of Hampton, Ga., wheeled the G.R. Smith/J.C. Clary Brodnax-Shaker Motorsports No. 89 past Austin Horton for the lead with an outside move on lap 18 and paced the remainder of the distance to capture Friday's 25-lap Billy Clanton Classic at Senoia Raceway. Winger beat Horton to the finish line for the $3,000 winner's check in the Southern All Star Series-sanctioned event.
