Sixth-place finish in Baltes Classic at Eldora

Behind the wheel of the Hatcher Motorsports No. 6 Late Model, Ashton Winger visited Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Sunday afternoon for the Baltes Classic. Drawing 33 Sunoco American Late Model Series (ALMS) entries for the test session leading up the double World 100’s, Winger recorded a third-place finish in his heat, which positioned him 11th on the starting grid for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. After running as high as third, Ashton experienced mechanical issues on the final circuit that dropped him back to sixth.
